Hi, I’m Aishwarya.
Designer. Dot-connector. Serial tab-opener.
Founder of Brown Dot Collaborative -- and someone who’s probably thought way too much about the shape of a door handle.
I care about impact. Not the buzzword kind -- the real kind.
The kind that changes how someone feels in a room.
That makes a child feel safe in a classroom.
That turns a quiet idea into something you can hold in your hands.
I started in interiors, but the details pulled me deeper.
Into materials.
Into neuroarchitecture.
Into how a space actually makes your nervous system respond.
I design down to the grain of the wood and the feeling of the light - because those things matter.
Somewhere along this journey to create an impact, I also became passionate about learning environments and mental health - because I’ve been an anxious teenager who didn’t have the tools. The board game I’ve designed? That’s me trying to give someone else what I wish I had.
Brown Dot Collaborative is my brainchild.
And it is how I make sense of it all.
It’s where my curiosity, care, and (let’s be honest) stubborn obsession with doing things well, all come together.
Sometimes the work is playful. Sometimes it’s heavy.
But it’s always done with heart.
And like me, this practice is still becoming..
